PROJECT MEMBERSHIP
It is imperativethat each of us pay special attention to membership. With many postmaster positions recently filled by non-NAPUS, be sure to contact them as soon as they are placed. If they're new to the postmaster position, offer your assistance; remember that times are difficult for all of us, and that these folks are Postal Family. Please do your part to help them become NAPUS family. Be sure to offer them a membership application form 1187, or direct them to the national website, www.napus.org, if they prefer to join online. Remember, National has extended the free one-year membership to those joining by December 31, 2009.
1st VP Angie is in the process of organizing district meetings especially in those areas with weak or non-existing chapters; she wants all postmasters to know the value of a NAPUS membership and will provide a taste of the training we offer as well as affording them the opportunity to meet some of the key people in our state organization. The 1st stop is Vancouver on October 16th. Meetings are also projected for eastern Washington in the first months of 2010. Let's come together to "Celebrate the Past and Shape the Future"!
For more information, contact Angie through the OFFICERS page on this site.
